Rebbe Nachman explains that it is important to pray with the biggest minyan possible.

Therefore, Rabbi Arush stresses that it is important to say this prayer at least once before Rosh Hashanah, and preferably before every prayer.

I hereby connect myself in all the prayers that I will pray throughout this Rosh Hashanah to all the minyanim that are at the gathering here in Uman. I hereby connect myself to, and love, every single person who has come to the holy gathering in Uman, without exception.

And I hereby connect myself in all the prayers that I will pray throughout this Rosh Hashanah to all the true tzaddikim (righteous) of this generation, and all the true tzaddikim of previous generations, “the holy ones who rest in the earth,” and in particular to our holy Rebbe, the “flowing river the source of wisdom,” Rebbe Nachman the son of Faige of Breslev who rests here, who commanded us to gather by him on Rosh Hashanah in Uman. Their merit should protect us and all Israel, amen.
